People generally have a good fashion sense in that we are always mixing and matching things that will make us stand out and so that we become more confident about ourselves. Why do you think there are new fashion trends every year if it weren’t for this particular concept?
One of the things that people always think about when it comes to their overall fashion is the watch that they are wearing. Whether they opt for a casual watch in Malaysia or one that is perfect for more formal events, a watch would always be in someone’s fashion inventory as it puts additional style and flair when used correctly.
However, choosing the right watch is not cut and dry. In other words, it is not as simple as it seems. Surely, you can buy one based solely on the color, but there are actually other important considerations that one must look into as well.
Below are some buying watch tips to help you choose the right watch that will match your outfit.
Chronograph watches are those that have a timer or a stopwatch embedded on the watch face. It looks a bit more complicated than a watch should but some people would actually love these extra features in their timepieces.
Now, for the most part, chronograph watches are ideal for casual occasions and although you can also wear them in formal events, you may want to use a metallic wrist strap for that to make it somewhat formal.
Dress watches are ideal for formal events, especially if you are wearing one with a leather strap. If you are using a leather strap, the color of it should match both the pair of shoes you are wearing, as well as the belt you are using as well.
Ideally, if you are wearing some brown leather shoes and belt, you also want to match a timepiece that has a brown leather strap as well.
Here, you have a bit more freedom. You can go for a chronograph watch or you can go for a simpler timepiece if you want. Heck, you can even use a diver’s watch if you want! The possibilities are endless if you just want a watch for casual occasions.
Make Sense with Chronograph
I’ve seen chronograph watches that use either a metallic or leather strap and although they look good by using either one, I actually have to go with a metallic strap.
Although it doesn’t provide the perfect fit for you, a metallic strap can be worn really well no matter what the occasion is. And, if you think that just switching to either strap is okay, the manner of changing it and the degree of difficulty will ward off any ideas of attempting such a thing.
Field watches are those that are made for outdoor use. Just like casual watches, you pretty much have the freedom here, but you would want to go for ones that are actually quite durable.
